Antioch Baptist Church

Antioch Baptist Church hired MHAworks in 2005 to create preliminary designs and renderings for their existing facilities’ renovation and expansion. For the next few years, these renderings were used to raise the necessary funds. In 2010, MHAworks was hired to complete the project that involved renovating the 3,200 square foot sanctuary that was constructed in 1858. The renovation also included the baptistry, choir room, youth room, and making the entire facility ADA-accessible. MHAworks also added a two-story, 3,000-square-foot building that includes a fellowship hall, kitchen, Sunday school rooms, and classrooms.

In 2023, we were once again hired to help Antioch Baptist Church expand its footprint. We developed concept plans to develop a new addition to the church that will include a new 650-seat sanctuary and classroom and choir space. The renderings created by our team are being utilized by the church to raise money for the proposed expansion. The project is currently on hold while the church works to raise more funds to begin construction.
