Interior Designer, EDAC
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Radford University, graduating with honors. Following graduation, Emily gained experience in a number of architectural fields, including but not limited to government/municipal, workplace, healthcare, and higher education.
Emily exhibits an immense passion for evidence-based design and enjoys creating built environments that reflect the observed needs of users and that impact them meaningfully. At MHAworks, her primary responsibilities are to collaborate effectively with project architects and designers as she focuses on healthcare facilities to ensure purposeful and functional interior design.
When she’s not envisioning evidence-based environments, Emily enjoys line dancing and two-stepping, exploring small southern towns, and celebrating the latest UVA win. She has her Evidence-Based Design Accreditation & Certification, is a member of both the American Society of Interior Designers and the Construction Specifications Institute, and is an active participant in the Triangle Area Evidence-Based Design Forum.
