MHA Greenville’s Matt Johnson and Amy Spruill recently attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Greenville Center Annex at Pitt Community College. Members of Pitt Community College’s Board of Trustees were all in attendance, as the ceremony served as a kick off for their meeting. MHAworks served as the Architect of Record for this project. Stocks & Taylor Construction served as the general contractor.
The building previously housed a physical fitness facility and lab space for the college’s Basic Law Enforcement Training program, the renovation of which was also completed by MHAworks. The renovation of the 8,000-square-foot facility made way for a conference room, a computer lab, two classrooms, staff offices and two breakout rooms. The facility will also house the College’s Continuing Education programs, specializing in business and industry training, career readiness certificate testing and customized training and workforce/Human Resources development. The effort was funded by the $19.9 million Local Bond referendum passed by Pitt County voters in 2013.
