MHAworks Welcomes Cyd Jaggers

Cyd Jaggers is the latest interim architect to join the MHAworks team in our Asheville office.

Cyd earned her Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in German from the University of Arkansas, attending on full academic scholarship as a Chancellor’s Scholar. Following graduation, Cyd enjoyed opportunities with architectural firms in New Orleans and Fayetteville, AR before relocating to Asheville. In western North Carolina, Cyd practiced freelance drafting and furthered her skill set with another architecture firm in the area. These professional experience have earned Cyd an intimate familiarity with a number of industries, including but not limited to historic preservation and senior living. Cyd also previously attended the Penland School of Craft, an educational center located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

With MHAworks, Cyd’s primary responsibilities will be to to work alongside project architects as a liaison between them and project owners in order to ensure a smooth design and construction process. Becoming a licensed architect is at the forefront of her career goals, and she is in the process of studying for her exams.

In her free time, Cyd enjoys hiking, textile arts, container gardening, thrifting and cooking.
