MHAworks is excited to announce Brian Maxwell, RA, NCARB as its new President, effective immediately. Maxwell succeeds Michael J. Hining, former President and Founder, who will remain to oversee a seamless transition through the early stages of his presidency.
“I have no doubt that Brian will be an excellent successor,” said Michael J. Hining. “He has made vital contributions that have expanded the legacy of our company.”
Maxwell joined MHAworks in 2001, where he soon became a Senior Studio Director and by 2010, became a Principal in the firm. Brian brings innovation and strategic vision to a wide variety of planning and design projects and has been one of the firm’s champions for demanding superior client service.
After more than 30 years of experience Maxwell takes the reins of President at a time of high growth for MHAworks. By the end of 2018 the company projects revenue growth of around 65 percent compared to last year. This is on the back of five years of continuous growth. The company has also brought on more architects, interior designers, and support personnel to assist current staff with its growing pool of clients. This growth is due largely in part to the foundation that Michael J. Hining and the other principals stay true to – providing incomparable service to clients – which sets MHAworks apart from the competition.
“I’m excited for the challenges this role will bring,” said Brian Maxwell. “The landscape of architecture is changing, so there will be situations to overcome that we might not expect in the next five to 10 years, but we’ll be ready. For the past 18 years I’ve seen the leadership of this company stay true to its values and that has only resulted in steady growth. Keep the focus on the client and we can weather any possible storm.”
