From Scraps to Crafts — MHAworks Donates to Durham School of the Arts

May 22nd, 2018

Following a bit of spring cleaning, MHAworks recently donated interior design samples to the Durham School of the Arts. The samples were used as craft materials in a 3D Media Design class, taught by long-time instructor Larry Downing, wherein students were assigned to create sculptures of birds. The birds created by this class are made of fabrics ranging from that used for hospital curtains to furniture upholstery. MHAworks donates regularly to the DSA, whenever a distributor is no longer in need of a material sample.
