Jan 27 2021

Shortly after joining our Greenville team as Project Architect, Fernando Zabala has taken additional steps to make a positive contribution to his new home by joining the City’s Community Appearance Commission (CAC). Established in 1979, the CAC’s mission is to initiate and promote programs of community beautification and character, assist in development and review of guidelines pertaining to city appearance and design, and advise the City Council on matters related to community appearance and beautification.

Fernando, who was previously a member of the Design Review Board for the City of Naples, Florida from 2015-2018, joined the CAC on December 10, 2020 with a unanimous vote from City Council. His role as a member will be to contribute to the committee’s restructuring efforts and working alongside the 10 other members in the pursuit of a more vibrant Greenville.
