Ryan Boyland, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Ryan is an alumnus of the School of Architecture and Design at Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors. While enrolled, Ryan gained professional experience studying and working in Chicago, Philadelphia and Western Europe, exploring myriad facets of construction and design while working side by side with architects, builders, contractors and interior designers.
Working on a wide range of building types and in various scales, Ryan participates in all phases of research, design, documentation and development. His knowledge coupled with a patient, open-minded approach to architecture allows him to thrive in the collaborative atmosphere at MHAworks. Through problem solving and staff interaction, Ryan gains great satisfaction seeing an initial concept transformed into a superior design.
Given a golf club when he could first walk, Ryan has been an avid golfer for over twenty years. He is proud to be a scratch golfer, although his mood on Monday morning directly reflects how well he played on the previous weekend.
