As the daughter of a contractor, Dani grew up surrounded by building and design. It was natural for her to find architecture as her passion and career. Dani is a graduate of North Dakota State University, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design with honors and a Master of Architecture. After graduation, she followed her husband in the US Air Force to Goldsboro, North Carolina, where they made their home. Dani has a wide range of experience in the construction and design industries including: working alongside her father learning a multitude of construction trades, as well as working in a city planning department writing land use codes, resolving zoning issues, and working with developers and architects to shape the vision of the city. Upon graduating from school, Dani dove into architectural practice. She has experience in several building types including higher education, civic, retail, and residential projects. She participates in all phases of the design process and particularly enjoys putting her pen to paper giving life to a design. When she is not working, Dani enjoys spending time renovating her “fixer-upper” home and visiting new places around North Carolina.
