Amy Spruill, LEED AP
Interior Designer / Project Manager
Originally a native of Eastern North Carolina, Amy Spruill also has ties to the Triangle Area from earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Minor in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, Amy moved to the Outer Banks and worked as an environmental educator at Jockey’s Ridge State Park. After several years on the coast, Amy relocated to Greenville to enter East Carolina University’s Interior Design Program. An independent study project offered her the chance to interact with the North Carolina State Historic Preservation Office and fueled a passion for historic preservation and adaptive re-use projects. After passing the LEED Examination in 2009, she looks forward to gaining professional experience with sustainable projects at MHAworks. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as biking and beachcombing.
