MHAworks Interiors Attend Triangle Heart Ball

February 18th, 2017

February is American Heart Month! MHAworks Interior Designers, Ashley Andrews, Mandy Pittman and Jennifer Turner attended the 2017 Triangle heart Ball with Paula Anstrom from Storr Office Environments. The evening was a spectacular event, raising over $1,000,000 to benefit the American Heart Association.

The event kicked off with a silent auction, after which the attendees moved into the formal dining room. There, Steve Burriss, President of UNC Rex Healthcare, hosted the program. The guests of honor were 14-year-old Albert “Alj” Jeffries and his mother Tina. Alj spent the majority of his life battling a rare congenital heart disease and had to remain in the hospital for 128 days before receiving his new heart. He has since made a full recovery and Ashley, Mandy and Jennifer were honored to hear his story at the Triangle Heart Ball. The night continued with auctions, dinner, desserts and dancing. “This was such a wonderful event for an even more wonderful cause”, said Jennifer Turner.
